Inspiration:     Inspired by the need to recognize, address, remind and promote man’s awareness of

                         the earths fragility.

Technique:      Assembled stoneware slabs, white slip; pit fired using kiawe wood, driftwood, and

                          guava tree branches, sawdust, and copper carbonate; the organic materials produce

                         the colors; the actual color patterns are  random and considered to be a gift of the

                         fire.
