Dimensions: 12.25 x 13 x 4 in.

Inspiration: Water is the most powerful substance on the planet even when it’s not moving. Fast
moving water always has the potential for injury or death by drowning or hitting
objects. Fatalities do occur; some 50 people die in whitewater accidents in the United
States each year. Although this is an activity I would not participate in, I can’t help but
admire the human spirit of all the paddlers who risk everything for the thrill of it all.
Technique: High fired stoneware, wheel-thrown, altered, hand built, glazed and electric fired in an
oxidation atmosphere, kiln cast and polished glass
Colors: Aqua Blue, white, turquoise
Price: NFS
Exhibition: Hawaii Craftsmen State Wide Juried Exhibition 2020
